ABOUT US

(The beautiful dumpster fire you were looking for)

Our Story (The Boring Part)

Wildflower Literary Magazine was born from a simple yet profound belief: that every voice deserves to be heard, every story deserves to be told, and every piece of art deserves to find its home.

Like the wildflowers that bloom in unexpected places (like cracks in the pavement or abandoned lots), we believe that the most beautiful literature often emerges from the most ordinary moments and the most extraordinary imaginations.

Our Mission

We are committed to:

Staying a mess. The moment this magazine feels "professional" or "established," we’ve failed. We are committed to the dumpster fire.

Being the most unreliable, honest thing you’ve ever read.

To the writers who think they’re geniuses and the ones who think they’re trash. (Both are usually right)

PAUSE FOR DRAMATIC EFFECT

If you’re here for a certificate to put on your CV, keep walking. We’re here to start a riot, not help your career.

Our Values

Seriously? You think we have those?

...

Professionalism is a cult. We aren't members.

The Goods

We welcome submissions across a wide spectrum of creative expression. If it fits in a box, we probably don't want it. But here are the labels anyway:

Development & Design

Tehreem handled the development and design. She’s the only one here who actually knows how to do anything useful. The rest of us are going through an existential crisis.

Join the Chaos

Whether you're a writer, reader, or just lost—welcome.
